This week in WDV 240, I am learning how to make additional updates and changes to my WordPress site. I’ve added new pages, updated the navigation menu, made new posts, and added a hyperlink. As I continue working on the site, I am starting to get more comfortable finding my way around WordPress and figuring out where different settings and options are located.
One of the things I worked on this week was adding new pages and organizing them in my navigation menu. I wanted my site to be easy to navigate so visitors can find the different sections without having to search around. I also added new content to my site, including pages about some of my hobbies and interests. It has been fun getting to personalize the site and add information about the things I enjoy.
I also learned how to add a hyperlink to my site and create new blog posts. These may seem like small changes, but they are helping me learn more about how WordPress works and how all of the different pieces of a website fit together. I am enjoying seeing the site come together as I make each new update, and I am looking forward to continuing to improve it as the class goes on.
I’m enjoying learning how powerful WordPress can be as a tool to help developers. Looking forward to learning even more throughout the semester.
